2016-02-21devtool: Don't recursively look for .devtoolbase in --basepathRandy Witt
If the user specifies --basepath on the commandline, only the directory specified should be searched for .devtoolbase. Otherwise when --basepath is a child of the sdk directory, .devtoolbase will always be found and devtool will only show options meant to be used within an sdk. 2016-02-21populate_sdk_ext: Don't ignore SDK_TARGETS valueRandy Witt
This fixes a problem where SDK_INSTALL_TARGETS wouldn't pick up the value in SDK_TARGETS. It also removes the inline python to make the code more readable. 2016-02-19bitbake: toaster: toastergui Fix invalid char test and implementationMichael Wood
This test was passing but because the assertion was the wrong way round and should have expected the first one to pass and second one to fail, in reality both were failing as the method for checking the invalid char was incorrect. 2016-02-19bitbake: toaster: toastergui unit tests convert to use fixturesMichael Wood
Instead of having to manually write up in the setUp function all the different objects to create in the database, just specifiy them in a fixture and load it. This has the advantage that it can be used on a live server by using the ./manage.py loaddata command and can then be inspected. 2016-02-19bitbake: toaster: orm migrations Sort out migrations messMichael Wood
We messed up the migrations by squashing some of the image customisation model definitions into the initial migration which has meant some irreversible operations on mysql took place. This deletes, re-orders and fixes the migrations. If your schema is up to date you may want to use ./manage migrate with --fake or --fake-initial to avoid re-applying migrations. 2016-02-19ruby: break out ri-docs and rdoc into separate packagesIoan-Adrian Ratiu
The ri (Ruby Interactive) documentation for the Ruby standard library consumes a significant amount of space on disk. It is useful to developers, but is usually not necessary for users who just want to run applications written in Ruby. Break it out into a separate package so Ruby can be installed without it. Also break out the rdoc documentation generator in its own package. 2016-02-18bitbake: data_smart: Drop default expand=False to getVarFlag [API change]Richard Purdie
At some point in the future, getVarFlag should expand by default. To get there from the current position, we need a period of time where the expand parameter is mandatory. 2016-02-18bitbake: Allow Hob to run images on a custom simulator, other than qemuMirela Rabulea
The current behavior of Hob is that there is a "Run Image" button which becomes visible only for qemu images. My suggested change is: - if an image is selected and it is qemu-compatible, let the "Run image" button be named "Run qemu image" - if an image is selected and it is not qemu-compatible, let the same button show up with the name "Run custom image", and besides that, an option shows-up to allow the selection of the custom script (by default it points out to runqemu script) to be used for launching this custom image Note: in case there is more than one toggled image (qemu runnable or deployable), when the user clicks the "Run custom image" button, a dialog will be presented, allowing to choose between any of the existing images. 2016-02-18pulseaudio: 6.0 -> 8.0Tanu Kaskinen
Release notes for 7.0: https://wiki.freedesktop.org/www/Software/PulseAudio/Notes/7.0/ Release notes for 8.0: https://wiki.freedesktop.org/www/Software/PulseAudio/Notes/8.0/ 7.0 added support for soxr resamplers, but neither oe-core nor meta-oe have libsoxr packaged. The default resampler is still speexdsp based, so most people wouldn't be using the soxr resamplers anyway. If someone cares enough to package soxr, then we can enable the feature. Bash completions moved in 7.0 from /etc to the standard location under /usr/share/bash-completion. We now use the bash-completion class to package the completion files. The private library libpulsecore moved from /usr/lib to /usr/lib/pulseaudio. The new routing features advertised in the 8.0 release notes are reverted for now, because they caused regressions. I'll remove the revert once a proper fix is available. Removed two patches, because they are included in the new release. Rebased three patches. Updated Upstream-Status tags to reflect the current situation.
